6 reasons why you should attend the Garden Expo

*(Fremont County, Wyo.)* - The Garden Expo brings folks together who delight in their backyards, can’t wait to get in the garden each spring, or enjoy recreating in the great outdoors. Here are 6 reasons why you should attend the upcoming Garden Expo: *1. Vendors *will showcase new products and services and provide our first peek of spring blooms. Come see lawn tractors, mowers, grills/smokers, decking, wind chimes, bird feeders, outdoor gear, a wide selection of plants, and much more. *​2. Barnyards & Backyards Workshops* will tackle interesting topics and provide tips for success. Topics include bees, chickens, fruit, veggies, trees, soil and more. Learn to cultivate success from managing a pasture to a garden plot or cook a meal using a Dutch oven. There are 10 workshops in all so visit www.popoagie.org for the complete class schedule and descriptions. *​3 . The Kid's Corner* is a big hit with families because it features hands on activities for the kids. *​4. Farmer's Market *booths will feature local products. Learn how you can get involved in the area community gardens and farmer’s markets. *​5. Concessionaires *will be available to provide tasty treats and satisfying meals. *​6. *Attendees can enter a drawing for a *Free Balled and Burlapped Tree* donated by Sprouts Greenhouse. ​To celebrate their fifth year, the Garden Expo has a new logo, but this is the same great event that you’ve come to expect. *The Expo is held at Lander Valley High School (350 Baldwin Creek) on April 16th. * *Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and workshops begin at 9:30 a.m. * A limited number of booth spaces are still available for vendors interested in showcasing their goods and services.
