Throwback Thursday: The former Fremont County Vocational High School in Lander

*Feature Photo: Fremont County Vocational High School anchored the West end of Main Street in Lander for decades. (Lander Pioneer Museum / Pitchengine Communities) * (Lander, Wyo.) - Thanks to the Lander Pioneer Museum, this photo of FCVHS before 1960 was located and shared. The "new" high school was constructed in front of the old building, and then the old building came down in 1966 when the "new" high school was expanded. That school was razed after the newest high school was built on the Baldwin Creek Road. The old name of Fremont County Vocational High School was retired in the fall of 1969 when the school changed named to Lander Valley High School.
