Fremont Therapy joins the Challenge for Charities Campaign as Platinum Sponsor

The Lander Community Foundation’s 2016 Challenge for Charities announces Fremont Therapy as a Platinum Level Challenger. Owners Scott Pfister and Brent Kaufman have committed $10,000 to secure their leadership place in the matching fund pool. This is Fremont Therapy’s second time as a Platinum Challenger. At the Lander Chamber Business After Hours event, which was hosted by Fremont Therapy, Scott Pfister noted *“This community has been so good to us over the last 20 years and we are proud to give back to the community through the Lander Community Foundation.”* The chance to make one substantial contribution that will have a widespread impact in Lander was also a draw for Fremont Therapy. By contributing to the matching funds, they are incentivizing community members to donate to the Challenge for Charities causes. Challenger donations are accepted March 1 through May 1st, 2016. In 2015 the Challenger Pool afforded a 53% match to 35 local participating non-profits. Challenge for Charities is a community-wide fundraiser where local nonprofits who raise funds during a 2-month donation period can benefit from a matching pool of funds raised by the Lander Community Foundation. After the Challenger pool is complete, participating nonprofits launch their fundraising efforts between May 1 and July10, 2016. The culminating event for the Challenge for Charities is the July 4th Lander Half Marathon, 5K and One-mile Youth Race. Last year there were more than 800 race participants.
