Dispatch: Arrests; Shoplifters ran away; Huge Family Fight moved from Riverton onto the Reservation

(Fremont County, Wyo.) - Here is Tuesday's recap of law enforcement activity from around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* None. The Fremont County Detention Center is currently responsible for 165 inmates. Of these, 148 are being held in the detention center, 15 are in substance abuse treatment programs, and two are being housed out of the facility. *Calls:* A burglary in the Lander area that was reported at 8:43 a.m. is under investigation. Additional details were not released. At 11:24 a.m., a caller in Riverton complained to deputies that someone wasn't giving him his tools back. The complaint was determined to be a civil issue. Multiple scam phone calls were reported across the county on Monday. At 4:49 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to the SageWest - Riverton emergency room for a woman who said she was assaulted. The investigation is on-going as of this morning. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Weldon Blackburn*, 38, Riverton, two LPD Warrants. *Michael Pingatore*, 30, Hudson, FCSO Warrant. *Mardell C'Bearing*, 40, Lander, FCSO Warrant. *Andrea Anderson*, 39, Lander, two LPD Warrants. *Calls*: At 10:29 a.m., police were called about a pair of women shoplifting toothpaste and body spray from the Dollar Store. They ran and police did not locate them. A hit and run was reported on Main Street yesterday afternoon. The suspect vehicle is unknown at this time. Police were called to the hospital at about 6 p.m. for a disorderly subject. The person eventually calmed down. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests:* *John Brown*, 50, Ethete, on a Contempt of Court warrant *Dustin Bigmedicine*, 35, of Arapahoe, on a Contempt of Court warrant *Andrea Addison*, 39, Lander, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Vincent Lopez*, 20, Riverton, Use of a Controlled Substance, Interference. *Matthew Morin*, 28, Crowheart, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Calls:* *There were 24 calls for service* A fight was reported at Riverton High School just past noon. No other details were available. A woman in the 800 block of North 1st Street reported someone had taken the temporary license tags off of her vehicle. A caller reported that someone had placed bags of trash in the wrong container in the 800 block of North Broadway. A responding officer removed the offending bags and put them in the proper container. A noise complaint was phoned in at 4:44 p.m. from City Park where a group was playing football and who had music playing from an adjacent vehicle. The music was turned down. What was billed as a "huge family fight" allegedly began at 5:29 p.m. at a checkout stand at Walmart between two women. The fight escalated and by the time officers arrived at the Pit Stop Travel Center, a report indicated "the whole parking lot was filled with people." The disagreement apparently stemmed from a long-time fued among families from the Wind River Reservation. Police took no action. One of the combatants, upon leaving, allegedly said they would take their fight "out on the reservation." *Fire Departments* Firefighters were called to four grass fires this morning around the county. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews were called out 18 times Monday into Tuesday morning.
