Dispatch: Arrests; Man arrested for felony meth possession; Vehicle collided with a house

(Fremont County, Wyo.) - Here is Friday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations* *John M. Chavez*, 33, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Julio Ramierz*, 27, Woodland, Calif., Felony Possession of Methamphetamine. On a traffic stop, an officer detected the odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle, finding 5.6 grams of meth, a felony amount. Over 3 grams is considered a felony. Also in his possession was a small amount of marijuana. *A 42-year-old Fort Washakie *female was cited for Shoplifting $29.59 in miscellaneous items from Walmart. *Patrick E. Arthur, Jr*., 34, of Arapahoe, on a Riverton Municipal warrant *A 24-year-old Riverton man* was cited for Simple Battery after getting in a woman's face and touching her in an insulting matter. *Calls* *There were 36 calls for service* A complaint was called in at 1:29 p.m. of someone taking more newspapers from a dispensing box than they had paid for. Video surveillance is being reviewed. A fire call at 3:22 p.m. to the 900 block of East Pershing was canceled after a responding police officer discovered a damper was in the wrong position on a chimney, venting smoke into the house. A report is not complete on an incident at 3:23 p.m. where an individual driving a red GMC collided into a house, appeared to be knocked out for a short time, then drove off heading eastbound on East Monroe. A resident called to report a missing Samsung Galaxy 5 smart phone from the 1000 block of North Federal. A report is pending on a larceny complaint called in from the 700 block of North Federal. Also pending is the report of a burglary at a residence in the 1300 block of South Federal. The reporting party said someone entered her trailer and took things. Police gave advice to a mother who complained her 15-year-old son was not being cooperative. *Lander Police Department * *Arrests/Citations:* *Damion Loneman,* 32, Pocatello, Idaho, was cited for No Drivers License and Expired Registration. *Johnny Montoya*, 24, also of Pocatello, was cited for Shoplifting and a 25-year-old Pocatello woman, *Michelle Montoya,* was cited for shoplifting and Simple Assault. The complaint from Mr. D's came in a 3:23 p.m. *Calls* *There were 15 calls for service:* A report of a damaged mailbox on Wood Street was called in at 7:22 a.m. There are no suspects. Several businesses along Main Street were contacted in reference to code violations when they pushed snow from their property into the street. A minor fender-bender was reported in the parking lot at the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 North 2nd Street. A report was forwarded to the County Attorney in reference to an alleged violation of a protection order. A woman reported that her ex-was texting her in violation of an order. An open gate allowed two dogs to escape their yard. The dogs were put back into the yard on West Lane, the gate was closed and a note was left on the door. A small red Yorkie with a collar but no tags was impounded from the Cottonwood Lane area. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* All Fremont County government offices and agencies are closed in observance of Good Friday and a media report was not available this morning.
