Chili recipes for snow days!

*1. Tortellini Chili* 1# ground beef 7-8 c beef broth (low sodium) 3/4 c ketchup 2-14 oz stewed tomatoes (I used diced tomatoes & low sodium) 1/2 c chopped carrots 3/4 c chopped celery 3/4 c chopped onion 1 TBSP dried basil 1 tsp sugar 1.5 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 4 bay leaves 1.5 cup cheese filled tortellini (I used a 9 oz. pkg). Parmesan cheese optional for garnish. Brown beef and drain. Add all ingredients except tortellini. Bring to boil and reduce heat and simmer for 30 min. or more til veggies are cooked. Add tortellini and cook for 20-30 minutes or til tortellini are tender. Remove bay leaves (if you can find them...I actually just kept them in). Garnish with parmesan if you like. 10-12 servings. You can add peas and diced potatoes. #county10
