Wind River Job Corps; empowering young women

*(Fremont County, Wyo.)* - Wind River Job Corps is a free education and training program that assists youth between the ages of 16-24 who are looking to better their future. This program is designed to help students learn a new skill/trade of their choice, earn a high school equivalency or high school diploma and find/keep a good job. Wind River Job Corps is currently accepting applications for residential and non-residential students. Non-residential students have the opportunity to go to school on campus during the day and live off center at their own residence. *Trades at the Wind River Center:* - Office Administration - Accounting - Carpentry - Welding - Electrical - Building Construction Technology - Heavy Equipment Operations - Heavy Equipment Mechanics - Heavy Truck Driving (CDL) - Petroleum Technician For interested students, ages 16-24, Job Corps is hosting information sessions at the Wind River Facility. Sessions are held every Wednesday at 11am. Orion Morris, Admission Counselor, will provide general information and answer questions about eligibility and enrollment.
