Dispatch: Search and Rescue successful; Lots of alcohol-related calls

(Fremont County, Wyo.) - Here is Tuesday's recap of law enforcement activity from the weekend. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Eldon Antelope*, 51, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Ronald Brown, *49, St. Stephens. 0.29% BAC Public Intoxication *Hayes Goggles, *50, Ethete, Contempt of Court *Joseph Medicinetop, *49, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Dominic Fightingbear*, 39, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Jacob Brawley*, 24, Riverton, Driving While Under the Influence (0 .11% BAC) *John Chavez, *33, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Calls:* *There were 43 calls for service on Monday.* At 4:01 a.m. police were called about a television set that had been left on in one of the Redwood Apartments causing a noise disturbance. An officer was unable to rouse the occupants. The owner of a purple 1999 Dodge pickup reported the driver’s side window had been broken out by someone. Damage was estimated at $200. Nothing was taken. A two-vehicle crash was reported at 9:40 a.m. at Smith Road and East Park where a red 2003 Chevy pickup ran into a white 2013 Dodge Ram. Damage was over $1,000. A man called to report his daughter was getting mail from a man in prison. It was not a law enforcement matter. Police were contacted about an auction company owing a local resident $7,000. The report was turned over to detectives. At 5:05 p.m. a pickup backing out of a garage in the 800 block of North Federal clipped a natural gas meter, causing a slow leak. The gas company repaired the damage. There was no damage to the truck. At 5:06 p.m. a harassment complaint was lodged over two students harassing each other on Facebook. The parents of both kids were contacted. Some chickens on the loose was a report called in at 5:17 p.m. from a location on East Pershing Avenue. At 9:18 p.m. a caller said a white Dodge pickup truck full of kids just took a stop sign at Sunset and Major Avenue and put the sign in the back of the truck and drove off. *Lander Police Department* *This report includes calls and arrests from Friday through Monday.* *Arrests:* *A 19-year-old Nevada man* was cited for Minor in Possession on Friday evening after police were called about subjects fighting on Northside Drive. *Sharraine Tillman*, 23, Fort Washakie, two FCSO Warrants. *Neal Yeargan-Track*, 22, Lander, FCSO Warrant and Interference. *Roddeen Ingawanup*, 48, Fort Washakie, Shoplifting and Trespassing. She was arrested after allegedly trying to take $17 in merchandise from a local store. *A 23-year-old Lander woman *was cited after taking $9 in items from a local store on Saturday evening. *Alyssa Hunt*, 22, California, Public Intoxication, Property Destruction and Trespassing. Hunt was arrested after police were called to a home on Sweetwater Street at 11:21 p.m. on Saturday for an intruder in the caller's garage. *Tamara Timbana*, 43, Fort Hall, Idaho, Driving Under the Influence and Driving Under Suspension. *A 31-year-old Arizona man* was cited for open container after being caught drinking in the movie theater. *Alex Eagle*, 27, Riverton, Public Intoxication and LPD Warrant. *Calls:* On Friday evening, dispatch received a couple 911 hang-ups. Upon further content, police determined that a subject with mental disabilities had been playing with the phone in one instance. Another 911 hang-up came from some kids playing on the phone. At 9:33 p.m., a caller on the 700 block of East Main Street reported that someone might be drinking in a parking lot. Police were unable to find anyone in the area. On Saturday, officers made 11 contacts along Main Street about snow that hadn't been removed from sidewalks. At 2 p.m. on Saturday, a caller on Smith Street reported that an air compressor was stolen from their yard. At 6:27 a.m. on Sunday, a caller reported a subject wearing all black walking down Highway 789. Police could not locate the man. At 11:43 a.m. on Monday, police were called to South Ninth Street for a report of a turkey on the loose. The owner was contacted and picked up the bird. A small silver pipe was found laying in the street in the intersection of North Fifth and Amoretti Street. Another possible drug pipe was found at a location off Highway 789. At 6 p.m. on Monday, police were called about someone being beaten up in a trailer home. Officers arrived and found all the parties to be intoxicated, but there was no sign of a physical altercation. Officers were called again by someone who said the saw bloody woman get put in a truck that drove away. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *David Ferris Jr.*, 48, Fort Washakie, Domestic Violence Battery. *Calls:* At 9:03 a.m. on Monday, deputies were called about a verbal domestic dispute in the Lander area. A theft in the Dubois area is under investigation. Four detention center inmates were issued battery citations after a fight broke out in the jail on Monday afternoon. A search and rescue mission is on-going this morning for three Lander teens that are reportedly stuck on Twin Creek Road outside of Lander. The call came in at 11:30 p.m. on Monday. Deputies attempted to reach the stranded trio until about 1 a.m., but were unable to get further due to road conditions. Search and Rescue was launched at daylight. As of 10 a.m., the teens had been located and returned home safe. *Fremont County Ambulance* EMS crews responded to 11 calls for service on Monday into Tuesday morning. *Fire Departments* Riverton Firefighters were called out twice on Monday for a gas investigation and a report of a grass fire.
