Dispatch: Arrests; Pellet stove stolen; Woman blames "society" for her shoplifting habit; Dispute over Pizza Payment; Two deaths reported

Here is Thursday's recap of law enforcement activity around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* *Arrests:* *Kyle Kummer,* 24, Lander, Bond Violation/Contempt of Court. *Billy Lookingbill,* 35, Kinnear, Breach of Peace and Failure to Appear Warrant. At 12:42 p.m. on Wednesday, Wind River Police were called about a man in the parking lot of Wind River Casino who was waving a knife around. WRPD located him sharpening a long bladed knife and detained him. He reportedly became hostile, and as he was not an enrolled tribal member, deputies made the arrest. *Daniel Oldman,* 23, Riverton, Failure to Appear. *Calls:* A pellet stove was reported stolen on Wednesday morning from a home in Arapahoe. A stray dog reportedly bit someone in Crowheart shortly before 10 a.m. A burglary reported at about 3 p.m. is under investigation. Additional details were not released. At 12:21 a.m. on Thursday, deputies were notified of a possible assault between family members at the Waltman rest area in Natrona County. The victim was reportedly driving toward Riverton while the alleged aggressor was headed toward Casper, but deputies were unable to locate the subject. *Riverton Police Department* *Arrests/Citations: * *Dominic Arthur*, 22, Riverton, Failure to Appear *A 46-year-old man *from St. Stephens was cited for Shoplifting a bottle of mouthwash from the Family Dollar Store on East Pershing. *A citation is pending for a 32-year-old Riverton man *who kicked in a door in the 700 block of West Park in an attempt to pick up his children. The man is also alleged to have threatened staff at his kid's school. Damage to the door was $200. *Leandra Eagle*, 30, Riverton, Public Intoxication *Beatrice Monroe*, 40, of Arapahoe. Shoplifting and on two outstanding warrants for shoplifting. Monroe was nabbed at Walmart where she was attempting to steal $368 worth of meat and laundry detergent. Monroe, according to a police report, blamed her shoplifting "on society and the lack of a drug and alcohol treatment center in town." *Ronald Brown*, 49, St. Stephens, Public Intoxication *Aloysius Piper,* 48, Ethete, Public Intoxication *Benjamin Piper,* 50, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication *Krystal Miller*, 32, of Arapahoe, Driving While Under the Influence with a child passenger and Speeding (0.22% BAC). Miller's vehicle was stopped going 44 mph in a 30 mph zone on South Federal. There was a 2-year-old child in the vehicle. *Dexter Duran*, 27, of Arapahoe, Contempt of Court *Calls* *There were 46 calls for service on Wednesday* Police were called to Riverton Middle School where an 11year-old girl was being suspended after being caught writing multiple "nasty" things and images in a rest room. A call was received at 11:28 a.m. from a person at Walmart that his wife was sleeping with his best friend who allegedly was a felon from Colorado. A report was taken. An ambulance and police were summoned to Walgreens just after 12:30 p.m. where a customer, a 56-year-old woman, had collapsed and who later died. A woman called at 1:52 p.m. saying she was being threatened by the son of the woman who collapsed and died. The man allegedly told the woman that if his mother's drug screen from her autopsy comes back positive, that he was going to kill her. Two roommates, a male and a female, were allegedly involved in a verbal altercation and the male half grabbed the woman's arm and would not let her leave. The female called and asked about how to evict the man from the apartment. At 10:02 p.m. a complaint was lodged that people with flashlights were doing something in Sunset Park. They were playing football. A bartender in the 100 block of North Broadway called to report that he had just refused service to several underage females and that he made them leave. A report was taken. *Lander Police Department* *Arrests/Citations:* *Tiara Crawford,* 25, Fort Washakie, Lander Warrant, Expired Vehicle Registration and No Insurance. *A 50-year-old Lander woman* was cited for Hit & Run, No Registration and Failure to Maintain Lane after she reportedly hit a gas meter with a four wheeler. *Calls:* At 10:21 p.m. on Wednesday, a caller on South Third Street reported a suspicious subject sitting in the alley with a flashlight. Police were unable to find the subject. There was briefly a disagreement between a pizza delivery driver and a customer who claimed they had already paid for the pizza, but they had not. The customer eventually paid. *Fremont County EMS* Ambulance crews responded to 9 calls for service on Wednesday. *Fire Departments* Firefighters were called out a few times, including a porch fire in Pavillion, a gas leak in Lander, and what turned out to be a camp fire near Shoshoni. *Fremont County Coroner* The coroner's office is investigating the death of a 56-year-old woman who collapsed in a store in Riverton on Wednesday.
