Mead thanks local veterans and sends of the National Guard

Gov. Matt Mead was in Lander on Friday to meet with members of our local military, both past and present. At the Pronghorn Lodge Mead met with veterans for the Veterans Welcome Home Day. The event was postponed from a couple weeks ago due to the snow storm that swept across the state. He thanked local veterans for their service to the country. While in Lander, he also sent off a local contingent of the Wyoming Army National Guard. "The Governor gave these guys a terrific send off," Jen Wilson said. "We look forward to celebrating their return in a year."
