Grants available for Wyoming children with medical needs

Did you know there's help for families with children with expensive health care needs? Pitchengine has learned about grants available from the UnitedHealthcare Children’s Foundation*.* Only 20 UHCCF grants have been awarded to Wyoming families since 2011 – and there are opportunities for more Wyoming families to apply for grants this year at Applicants must be insured, but they do not need to be UnitedHealthcare plan holders to be considered for the program. Qualifying families can receive up to $5,000 per grant with a lifetime maximum of $10,000 per child. Since 2007, UHCCF has awarded more than 10,000 grants totaling more than $29 million to children and their families across the U.S. to help pay for medical services, treatment and equipment such as physical, occupational and speech therapy, surgeries, prescriptions, wheelchairs, orthotics, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. *photo h/t Nevit Dilmen* #county10 #buckrail #reboot #springcity #dally #oilcity #county17 #shortgo #news
