Catholic College interim president to take the helm permanently

Three weeks after selecting Dr. Glenn Arbery as Interim President, the Wyoming Catholic College Board of Directors voted to remove the interim designation, and named Dr. Arbery as the College’s third President. “I am honored and humbled at this opportunity,” Dr. Arbery said. “Having devoted much of my professional life to the cause of liberal education, I am excited at the chance to lead such a great institution.” “We were preparing to conduct a national presidential search,” said Chairman Dave Kellogg. “But as we moved forward on that front, we came to recognize that we already had the best candidate right here in Lander, working for the College. Glenn has the resume of a college president paired with a love and knowledge of our institution. By choosing our new leader from within the College’s midst, we insure that the College will continue on a unified and consistent course." Earlier this month, Dr. Kevin Roberts, who has lead the College for the past three years, announced that he had accepted a position at the Texas Public Policy Foundation in Austin, TX and would be leaving the College after its upcoming Commencement in May. *Feature Photo: President Dr. Kevin Roberts and Dr. Glenn Arbery, the future president of Wyoming Catholic College.
