(Riverton, Wyo.) - For folks who are loving the moisture, this coming week will be like Valentines Day. More is on the way. The National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport said a storm system moving across Utah and Colorado tonight through Tuesday night will result in significant rain and snow across Central Wyoming. According to the NWS, significant snowfall is expected over the eastern slopes of the Wind River Ranger though Tuesday night. Most of the lower elevation below 7,000 feet will change from rain to snow between 2 and 9 a.m Tuesday. The Lander Foothills could see significant snowfall In advance of the storm the NWS said expected conditions over south Pass and highways in Southeast Fremont County, 789 and 287, could be difficult for motorists. The weather service also noted that shoveling the wet heavy snow could lead to overexertion. [image: Inline image 2] #county10 #news
