According to the National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport, 1.06 inches of precipitation was recorded, which broke the previous record of 1.05 inches set in 1984. The snow that fell was laden with moisture as Lander recorded only one inch of snowfall in the storm. By comparison, Jeffrey City and Atlantic City recorded 8 inches of snow, 4.6 inches was reported 6 miles southwest of town, the Hunt Field Airport recorded 2.3 inches there was 1.1 inches at Riverton and 1 inch at Dubois. #county10 #news
