The land, totalling 11.85 acres, is located at the north end of College View Drive. It was purchased from the Reach Foundation for $294,200. "This is not a tomorrow use of the land," Snyder said, "one of the things we'll need for the future is a location for a new school." Snyder said one of the district's objectives was to disperse school buildings across the town, rather than have them all centrally located, as was the case in the past. "We'll still have to annex the land into the city. This will make a good site for a new elementary school to meet future needs, or if the town doesn't grow in that direction, it is good resale property," Snyder reported. #county10 #news
