There are six big things going Saturday, too. Check out the list before this weekend's events and beyond: *Friday, April 29* RIVERTON - Taste of the Town by Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwest Wyoming, at the Heritage Hall at the county fairgrounds, 6-9 p.m. Chefs from local restaurants from Lander and Riverton will have samplings of their favorite dishes that will be paired with beer and wine for maximum flavor. Tickets are $25 on line at or at 324 East Washington, Riverton. $35 at the door. All proceeds benefit Fremont County Branch of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Northwest Wyoming. Registration opens at 8, and the race is at 9 a.m. Cost is by donation at registration ($30 recommended. Proceeds will go to the SNA class of 2017. LANDER - SOLD OUT! The show is being offered this Saturday, April 30th at the via live HD telecast at the *Lander Library* at *11 a.m. in the Carnegie Room. * Come enjoy seeing this Lander girl on stage at the New York City Metropolitan Opera. Her father, William Boycott told County 10, "She's the only blonde on stage so she can't be missed." LANDER - UNPLUGGED – Acoustic Music concert. All skill levels of local musical talent. The race begins at 9. RIVERTON - The Central Wyoming Skateboard Association's Grand Opening of the Tyler Apodaca Memorial Skate Park at Riverton City Park. A full day of activities starts at 11 a.m. with the dedication of the park. RIVERTON - The Central Wyoming College Spring Social Powwow at Rustler Gymnasium. Gourd dancing 4-5 p.m., Grand Entry 6 p.m., Rustler Clown Dance Contest. First Five drum groups to register will be paid.
