Join the ride when Lander bikes to work!

Add some energy and fresh air to your morning commute! Bike to Work Week and Bike to Work Day are nationwide initiatives that promote cycling to work. The Lander Cycling Club is supporting and organizing a week-long event in Lander from May 16 - 20. *Why bike to work?* Mostly because it's fun and energizing, although there are obvious economic and health benefits, too. You don't need to be an experienced cyclist to participate -- this event is for people who don't ride regularly or aren't used to riding to work. You definitely don't need fancy clothes or a special bike. We just want you to give it a shot! This year, the LCC is also encouraging Lander businesses and employers to participate by offering promotions to customers and/or incentives to employees who ride a bike at least once during Bike to Work Week. Participating businesses and employers will receive publicity and an official Bike to Work Participant sticker from the Lander Cycling Club. Individual riders don't need to register, but if you're an interested business owner or employer: -->register with the LCC <--- or complete and return a flier, available at Gannett Peak Sports and The Bike Mill. Contact LCC Advocacy Coordinator Paul Primrose at for more information. #sponsored #news #county10
