Twenty-nine from LVHS Heading to "Hotlanta"

(John Rounds / Pitchengine Communities)* (Lander, Wyo.) - In a presentation before the Rotary Club of Lander Wednesday afternoon, five Lander Valley High School Future Business Leaders students presented a program about the club's upcoming trip to Atlanta at the end of June. [image: Inline image 2] *The Rotary Club of Lander welcomed members of the LVHS FBLA class to its Tuesday meeting. Pictured are Mark Calhoun, Rotary president; Jake Calhoun, Payton Thomas, Autumn Jensen, Alex Jacobsen and Rachel Kauffman with incoming Rotary President Trey Warren. (Pitchengine Communities) * Students will compete in Business Calculations, Economics, American Enterprise, Partnerships with Business, Community Service Project, Global Business, Management Decision Making and Emerging Business Issues, among other topics. Autumn Jensen and Alex Jacobsen presented their talk on Emerging Business Issues on the topic of unlocking and jailbreaking cellular telephones to the Rotary audience, who then quizzed them and made several constructive suggestions on their program. The Rotary Club supported the FBLA'ers with a contribution of $1,266 and change for their trip. The FBLA club is sponsored by John Rounds who is assisted by Rachel Giesmann.
