Two local "25 Under 25" Tribal Youth Leaders named

(Pitchengine Communities) * (Fremont County, Wyo.) - A Lander Valley High School graduate and a soon to be Riverton High grad have been named to the prestigious "25 Under 25" by United National Indian Tribal Youth, or UNITY. The list was announced today. Included are Eastern Shoshone member Claullen Tillman, 20, of Lander and Northern Arapaho member Christie Wildcat, 17, of Riverton. The pair will be recognized July 22-26 at the UNITY national conference in Oklahoma City. [image: Inline image 1] *Claullen Tillman of Lander. (UNITY / Pitchengine Communities) * The award "recognizes and celebrates the achievements of Native youth leaders under the age of 25 who embody UNITY's core mission and exudes living a balanced life developing their spiritual, mental, physical and social well-being," according to a news release. The awards are announced every other year. A previous recipient was Layha Spoonhunter of Fort Washakie.
