Oh Great, now there's a freeze warning!

(Riverton, Wyo.) - A freeze warning has been posted for the Wind River Basin and eastward to include most of Natrona County along with most of Southwest Wyoming. A cold front will result in the return of seasonally cold temperatures tonight with readings below freezing from Dubois to Casper. Temperatures are expected to dip to 30°F in Lander and Casper and to 31°F in Riverton, according to the National Weather Service Forecast Office at Riverton Regional Airport. On the west side of the Wind Rivers, Rock Springs could dip down to 29°F, Pinedale to 25°F and Big Piney to 24°F. For those gardeners who took advantage of the first big rains, if you have temperature-sensitive vegetation, the NWS recommends having those plants covered or moved to a warmer protected location. Ranchers are alerted that the freezing temperatures may be harmful to newborn livestock. [image: Inline image 3] *NWS graphic* #county10 #news
