Four from county earn trip to National Finals Jr. High Rodeo

(h/t Jessica Bates / Pitchengine Communities) * (Fremont County, Wyo.) - On Friday May 6th, the Wyoming Junior High School Rodeo Association held its final rodeo of the season up in Gillette. As a result of their individual showing there, four contestants from Fremont County earned a trip to the National Junior High School Finals in Lebanon Tennessee in June. [image: Inline image 1] *Madison Enos **(h/t Jessica Bates / Pitchengine Communities) * Madison Enos finished 3rd in the average for team roping this weekend earning her a second place finish in the state standings. She also qualified fourth in the state for breakaway, and she's headed to nationals in both events. Madison also participates in barrels, pole bending and goat tying. [image: Inline image 2] *Kage Vogel (h/t Jessica Bates / Pitchengine Communities) * Kage Vogel finished second in the state for chute dogging and he qualified in the tie-down roping event as well. Kage will compete in both these events in Tennessee. He also participates team roping with Lanna Jordan (finishing 14th in the state), and ribbon roping (finished 6th in the state). [image: Inline image 3] *Lanna Jordan (h/t Jessica Bates / Pitchengine Communities) * Lanna Jordan finished first in round one of breakaway and 4th in second round making her score second in the average and third in state. She was also third in the average for the weekend in goat tying finishing fourth in state. Lanna will be competing in both breakaway and goat tying at Nationals. Lanna also competes in barrels, poles, ribbon roping and team roping with Kage Vogel as noted above. [image: Inline image 4] *Brodie Bates (h/t Jessica Bates / Pitchengine Communities) * In bull riding, Brodie Bates finished first in round one and first in the average for the weekend, earning a state championship.
