Recent Arrests in Fremont County

Here is Thursday's report of recent arrests around Fremont County. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* John Thomas Brown, Jr., 50, Ethete, on a Contempt of Court warrant Clarence D. Jenkins, 58, Riverton, on a Failure to Appear warrant Brian G. SunRhodes, 31, Ethete, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Calls of note:* Police received a call from the 100 block of Diamond Avenue about something alive the cat dragged in that was behind a dryer. Animal Control Officer Becky Weber investigated, pulled the dryer out, and discovered a bird had built a nest in the dryer vent. It was not the cat's doing. She removed the nest (there were no eggs there) and suggested the homeowner put a screen or chicken wire over the vent outside. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* A 15-year-old male of Riverton was arrested on a drug violation. *Calls of note: * A Hudson resident called to report that while they were shopping in Casper, someone obtained their credit card number. The case has been referred to the Casper Police Department. *Lander Police Department* There were no arrests in the last 24 hours. *Calls of note:* The LPD is investigating a larceny-theft on South 5th Street.
