Recent Arrests in Fremont County

Here is Thursdays report of recent arrests by law enforcement agencies around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Lander Police Department* Forest Duran, 45, Lander, Public Intoxication Timothy Mulford, 30, Fort Washakie, was served with two LPD warrants while incarcerated at the Fremont County Detention Center. *Calls of note:* Police were called about a cat stuck in a drain pipe on Adams Street. The cat was freed without LPD assistance. A whistleblower reported being harassed by the employee who was turned in and placed on administrative leave. The victim reported the suspect keeps driving their house. A mother reported her son stole a toy from Family Dollar the day before. She was returning the toy to the store with the boy and wanted an officer to talk to the child about stealing. No other action was taken. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* There were no arrests in the past 24 hours. A 23-year-old Lander male was cited for Battery after getting into a bout of fisticuffs with another male. *Riverton Police Department* Dwain Boyd, 29, Colorado Springs, on a felony warrant out of Colorado. Read more here . One handgun was recovered from the scene from a crawl space under an apartment in the 700 block of Eagle Drive; another handgun was later found in the apartment unit. The .38 handgun had been fired inside the house. Police discovered a bullet hole. Cordell Washington, 42, Ethete, Public Intoxication Timothy Mulford, 30, Fort Washakie, Driving While Under the Influence Jacob Lujan, 35, Riverton, Public Intoxication Amber Goudreaux, 30, Riverton on a Contempt of Court warrant Dan David, 55, Riverton, Public Intoxication Gary Jara, 46, Riverton, Aggravated Assault. Jara is accused of repeatedly slashing a man with a knife following an alcohol-fueled argument. Read more here . *Calls of Note: * A Samsung Galaxy 4 cell phone valued at $300 and a $2.00 bill were taken from an unlocked 2003 Dodge pickup in the 600 block of Edith.
