*(Fremont County, Wyo.) -* There's a crazy rumor out there that the sun is going to shine once more. Could it be true? We're so over the rainy weather that we're counting on the sunshine to lift our spirits. It's been hard to scratch the gardening itch and we're anxious to go play in the dirt and bet you are, too! So, to help us get past the weather and be excited to plant, here are three things to motivate us. *1. Early Bird Special*: This Saturday, May 21st, the Early Birds once again get a deal. Sprouts will open at 6:30 am, and all shoppers who park their cars by 9am will receive a coupon for 5% off their entire purchase on that visit. Since many gardeners have delayed their customary purchases, this is a great opportunity to dive into the gardening season with gusto. *2. Picture This:* Robert Frost wrote that "good fences make good neighbors" but we've got a better idea. We think that gardening makes good neighbors! Help a friend or neighbor with gardening, and we'll reward you with a lovely Marmande* tomato plant. Show us a picture on your phone of your helpfulness in action, or better yet, bring your gardening pal along to vouch for your kindness, and we'll give you a gallon tomato while supplies last. *Marmande is an heirloom variety imported from France. The fruit is medium-large, 10 ounces, and produces even in cooler temperatures. *3. Time to "Giterdun"! *Nothing helps to kick it into gear like being around other motivated gardeners! Come out to peruse the greenhouses and grounds, get ideas, and get going with your gardening plans. You'll be in good company with everyone else who wants to feed their gardening fever. We've got greenhouses chock full of flowers, herbs, and veggies as well as a wide assortment of gorgeous perennials, as well as shrubs and trees. If you're feeling pinched for time, consider using our custom container filling service. Bring us your pots, and we'll fill them for you. By July, we'll curse the summer's heat and relentless sun. What's a Wyoming gardener to do except to grab a rain jacket and boots and head to the garden?
