Recent Arrests in Fremont County

Here is Saturday's report of recent arrests around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* A 26-year-old transient woman was cited for Defacing Property after painting flowers on a mural at the Northern Arapaho Tribe's building on West Main Street (former High Plains Power building). Billy Martin, 26, Riverton, Domestic Violence. He was charged after fighting with his brother and knocking him to the ground. Rupert Brown, 38, of Arapahoe, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Calls of note:* Sometime during the night, a black 2006 Chevrolet pickup with a utility topper and Michigan license plates was stolen. The truck contained $5,000 worth of tools. The vehicle belonged to a contractor working on the construction project at the College Hills Apartments. Police advised there is an identical truck that was not stolen. An 85-year-old female driver struck a 65-year-old pedestrian coming out of the south doors at Walmart, knocking her to the ground. The victim was treated and released at SageWest Riverton hospital. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* Travis Balderston, 38, Lander, Domestic Violence Battery Kenneth Jorgenson, 35, Fort Washakie, on a Failure to Appear warrant *Calls of Note* A reported incident of elder abuse is under investigation A pump and toolbox found in the vicinity of North 8th West and Webbwood Road in Riverton was turned in. The owner can identify and reclaim the lost items at the Riverton Sheriff's Office. A case has been forwarded to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department to investigate the reported shooting of crows in the Pavillion area.
