Southern Baptist Disaster Relief sets up to help local flood victims

Southern Baptist Disaster Relief has set up a command center at Hudson Baptist Church in Hudson to provide "help, healing, and hope" to victims of the recent flooding. SBDR is a nation wide volunteer organization that is well known for relief efforts in several states. The team at Hudson has volunteers from Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Utah, and Idaho. They are identified by the bright gold shirts and the ID badge. The badge is a credential indicating the volunteer has been trained and a background check has been done on that individual. With almost 200 homes in Fremont County being damaged or destroyed in Fremont County, these volunteers will be seen in many communities as they assess damages and work to clean up flood damage. If you or someone you know has been affected by the flood you can have these volunteers assess the damages, clean and disinfect your home. You can contact them at 307-840-2290. *h/t Dale Bascue / Pitchengine Communities* #county10 #news
