Recent Arrests in Fremont County

Here are arrested reported on Wednesday from around the county. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* Patrick Duran, 27, Riverton, on a Failure to Appear warrant Dominic FightingBear, 39, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication *Calls of note:* Six more incidents of vandalism were reported in the vicinity of the Forest Drive Apartments on Tuesday. The tagger again used black spray paint. A 2000s model Chevy Trailblazer cut off a motorcycle in the 700 block of North Federal causing the rider to lay the bike down on the pavement. The incident resulted in an estimated $500 in damage. The Trailblazer did not stop. The motorcycle rider was not injured. A woman who recently moved to Riverton decided to start a backyard farm in the 100 block of East Sunset and told police she purchased a handicapped rooster to get her farm started. Neighbors, however, began complaining about the crowing. Roosters, by statute, are not allowed within the city limits. The case is pending. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office* Shane Boren, 37, Thermopolis, on two county warrants for Failure to Appear and a Probation Revocation. A 16-year-old Juvenile male of Riverton was picked up on a Court-ordered arrest Louis Oldman, 27, Riverton, on two county warrants, both for Failure to Appear. *Calls of note:* Fremont County's K9 Drug Dog along with other handlers from northern Wyoming performed searches at Worland High School on Tuesday. The same teams also check local schools on occasion. A sex offender allegedly failed to comply with registration requirements in the Riverton area. Law enforcement is investigating. *Lander Police Department* Two drivers involved in a crash on Lincoln Street were both cited for various violations. A 44-year-old female of Riverton was cited for Improper Backing, Expired Registration, and Expired Drivers License. A 35-year-old female from Fort Washakie was cited for No Insurance, and for window tint violation. Ira Runningshield, 25, of Arapahoe, on a Fremont County warrant. Lawrence Slowbear, 31, Lander, arrested on four Lander Police Department warrants. *Calls of note:* A boy was bitten by a dog near 700 North 2nd and Market Street at 8:26 p.m. Tuesday night. The boy was treated and released at SageWest-Lander. The dogs were identified as a smaller black/brown short haired dog and the other was a medium sized white dog.
