Eight next steps for RHS Grads

(Riverton, Wyo.) - What will the class of 2016 do now that they have graduated from Riverton High School. Here's what the grads said they would do next. 1.97% - JobCorps 1.97% - Mission work, then college 2.63% - Returning next year (special ed students) 3.28% - Attending a trade school/vocational school 5.92% - Returning home (foreign exchange students) 10.52% - Joining the workforce 19.07% - Attending a 4-year University 57.23% - Attending a 2-year Community College So that's 76.3% with 2 or4 year College plans, and 85.5% with ed/training plans in general for the fall. Students have plans to attend: • JobCorps, WyoTech, Tulsa Glass School, and Southwest Institute of Natural Aesthetics. • CWC, Casper College, Sheridan College, Western WCC, Eastern WC, LCCC, Olympic College, Oglala Community College, and Georgia Gwinnett College. • University of Wyoming, Chadron State, Boise State U., BYU-Idaho, Hawaii Pacific U., Montana State U. Bozeman, Colorado State U., Utah Valley U., Black Hills State U., Weber State U., Michigan State U., Dixie State U., Louisiana Tech U., Fashion Institute of Technology in NY, and the University of Colorado Boulder. • There are also students pursuing careers in the Marines and the Wyoming National Guard as well Many of the RHS students received full-ride and significantly sized scholarships to assist with their futures, on top of their Hathaway success. *h/t FCSD25* #county10 #news
