Recent Arrests in Fremont County

Here is Friday's report of recent arrests by county law enforcement agencies. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office:* Kyle Cress, 36, Riverton, on a Civil Bench Warrant for Contempt of Court *Calls of note:* Sheriff's Deputies assisted the Wind River Police searching for a person wanted on felony warrants in the Arapahoe area. The suspect was not found. A Hudson resident reported he found his truck door open in the morning and tools and items rummaged through. There are no suspects. *Lander Police Department* A 31-year-old Fort Washakie man was cited for Expired Registration. His vehicle was towed. *Riverton Police Department * Donovan Shakespeare, 21, Driving While Under the Influence (0.174 BAC) Shakespeare was arrested on a tip at Dominos Pizza where he was a driver. He had just started his shift and had not gone out yet. Garrett Blackburn, 24, Ethete, on a Federal Warrant from 2014 for Escape from Custody resulting in Bodily Injury while he was at a halfway house in Gillette. Jody Blackburn, 36, of Arapahoe, Public Intoxication A 15-year-old juvenile female of Riverton was cited for Minor in Possession and released to her mother. *Calls of note:* Police received a call at 3:44 a.m. in reference to a baby crying at an address on College Hill Drive. The investigating officer met a parent who indeed said the baby was crying. "It's a baby, it cries," the parent reported, according to the RPD. No action was taken.
