The signs of summer in Lander are upon us. Fresh cut grass, bustling fireworks stands and rugby. The resident Speedgoat rugby
already has a few matches under their belts facing Casper, Gillette and
other Montana teams, but Saturday marks the last and home match of the
"We're excited to get to play in front of our home fans and expose our
friends and potential new recruits to the second largest sport in the
world," said Club President, Kyle Smith.
Rugby, which has been added back in to the Olympics for Rio, is among the
fastest-growing sports in the United States as a result.
Saturday's match will kick-off at noon in Lander at the former Starrett
Junior High football field (behind the swimming pool) on Sweetwater Street.
