Water line break impacting roughly one dozen customers

(Lander, Wyo.) - This morning at about 10:00 a.m. a water line break was reported just south of Lander on Sinks Canyon Road approximately 200 feet north of Mortimer Lane. City Engineer and Public Works Director Lance Hopkins says roughly one dozen customers currently have low water pressure while only a few customers have reported no water at all. Hopkins says the this line is a small line which sits next to a larger line which broke about one year ago. He said this incident is slightly related because they've had issues with backfill in the past. This is likely the cause of today's break. "If the repairs go as planned we should have everything fixed and running like normal by the end of today," Hopkins noted. If you're traveling towards Sinks Canyon be advised the crews will be working on this line for most of the day. [image: 0 (3).jpeg] [image: 0.jpeg] #county10 #news
