Fort Washakie teacher George Abeyta accepts award in Washington D.C.

(Washington D.C.) - We share another congratulations to Fort Washakie elementary school teacher, George Abeyta, who was named the Region 6 National Johnson-O'Mally Association's Teacher of the Year. He accepted the award a few months ago in Washington D.C. and Sarah Newberry recently shared these photos with County 10. Sarah said, "George believes strongly in exercise and healthy living and promotes this with his students."
