Heat Wave? Come Chill Out at the Lander Brewfest This Weekend

LANDER, Wyo. – Oh baby its going to be hot out there. Why not cool down and chill out at the 2016 Fremont Toyota Lander Brewfest this Friday (5-9pm) and Saturday (2-8pm) in City Park. Tickets can be purchased online, at the Lander Chamber of Commerce Office or at the door, 1 day $35, 2 days $50. Lander Brewfest is anticipating over 2,500 people to come enjoy over 70 craft beers from around the Rocky Mountain West. In addition to brewers classes, games and great food, the 2016 Lander Brewfest will feature excellent live music. Friday night Sol Seed will rock out the evening with an eclectic reggae and root vibe. Saturday Nashville, TN’s Nora Jane Struthers & The Party Line will kick off the day with Americana country rock, and calypso, island, dance party maker, Zach Deputy will close out the evening with a bang. Lander Chamber of Commerce Event Coordinator, Rose Burke says, “I believe the music alone will be a reason to attend Brewfest." [image: Inline image 1] Lander Brewfest is also hosting Wyoming.com “Golf with the Brewers” 9-hole scramble at the Lander Golf Club, Saturday June 11th from 9am-12pm. “We have 25 of our brewers signed up and most of them are bringing some of their brews to share,” said Burke. “It should be a fun opportunity to play golf, talk with the brewers, and play golf.” Tickets are $30, available on the Brewfest website. Brewfest is partnering Saturday’s events with the Fremont Area Road Tour, a road bike race for all ages, levels, and distances beginning and ending at Lander City Park.
