Hope Lights the Way at Relay for Life of Fremont County

(Fremont County, Wyo.) - The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is an opportunity to celebrate people who have had cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to end cancer. The Relay For Life of Fremont County is scheduled for July 9 at Lander Valley High School, 350 Baldwin Creek Road. Everyone is invited to join the event and form a team, or make a contribution. For more information visit relayforlife.org/fremontwy. [image: a5c87cf4-14e2-4620-b516-f98e569515e5.jpeg] A memorable part of each Relay For Life is the luminaria ceremony. When the sun goes down, luminarias, or candles in paper bags, line the track to honor loved ones who have survived cancer and remember those who passed away from cancer. This ceremony of light symbolizes hope and perseverance as the community works together to end the pain and suffering from cancer. The luminaria ceremony at the Relay For Life of Fremont County begins at 9:30 p.m. and it is open to the public. To purchase a luminaria for $10, visit relayforlife.org/fremontwy or contact Carol at 307-335-5366 to purchase a luminaria for $5.
