Dance season in Riverton was awesome

Dance, dance, dance! That is what about 300 performers have been doing over the last few weeks in Riverton. CWC hosted different dance recitals for the local dance studios this month filling the auditorium with excited parents and family and the back stage with costume changes, glitter, lots of little girls and laughter. They practiced first in the RMS cafeteria stage in front of parents to help the dancers be better prepared for the big show and help them be “stage ready.” With all the rehearsals, costume and make up time and between the two performances many hours were put in to create the show. Motion Bliss’s recital theme was Vegas and they had performances such as tap dance to Lady Gaga’s Poker Face where the dancers tapped on metal chairs and had poker tables and cards. Another audience favorite was the Backstreet Boys mash up. The show included a performance from the Disney class that will be going to Disney World later this summer. Each performance took hours of preparation from teachers, parents and performers and provided beautiful moments for the performers to share the spotlight with their classes and feel a sense of accomplishment for all their hard work.
