Last Thursday night, the Riverton Chamber of Commerce kicked of its summer Alive at Five event taking place at The Hampton Inn and Sweets. There was food, a bounce house, live music from Zack Schommer and live radio broadcast. This is the second year the Chamber has run the Alive at Five events taking place of their Chamber Social and they invite everyone to come out and have some fun. According to Jim Davis, the Chamber’s executive director, it's a really great way to get outside and enjoy the community. [image: IMG_4222.JPG] Last year, there were three Alive at Five events with an extra event at Porters that was very successful. There will be three events again this year and they are hoping for an even better turn out. If you missed Thursday’s event there will be two more this summer. They are on the third Thursday of the summer months at different local businesses. All of the events offer food, music, entertainment and the opportunity to socialize and enjoy this great community we all live in.
