Boy Scouts volunteer to set up for Flag Day

What do most teenage boys do at 6:00am on any given day in the summer? Sleep, right? Well not the members of Boy Scout Troop 176. These boys spent their morning putting up flags all around Riverton in celebration of Flag Day. With the help of their scout leaders, the boys put flags up all along Main Street, Federal, Broadway and along the side streets in downtown Riverton. The United States Army also celebrates the Army Birthday on this date; Congress adopted "the American continental army" after reaching a consensus position in the Committee of the Whole on June 14, 1775.
