Recent arrests around Fremont County

Here is the report of the weekend's arrests around the county from local enforcement agencies. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Riverton Police Department* Naomi Amos, 18, Riverton, Assault on a Police Officer and Minor Under the Influence. A 17-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were also cited for Minor Under the Influence after police broke up a party on the 3000 block of College Hill Drive at 2:59 a.m. on Monday. Amos allegedly punched the arresting officer in the face, resulting in the assault charge. Tuvita Shavehead, 38, Riverton, DUI and Failure to Appear. Michelle Brown, 39, Arapahoe, Disturbing the Peace. At 3:34 p.m., police were called to 400 block of N. 7th East for a report of an intoxicated woman banging on walls and windows. Chester Moss, 36, St. Stephen's, three Failure to Appear Warrants. Cheryl Truyen, 55, St. Stephen's, Battery and Trespassing. Police were called to Walmart where Truyen was reportedly causing a "ruckus." She allegedly punched an employee in the face. Cordell Washington, 43, Ethete, Public Intoxication. Kyeren Tillman 25, Riverton, Resisting. At 10:06 p.m. on Monday, police were called to the 800 block of East Main Street for a report of a fight. Police arrived and found a man and woman rolling on the ground together, not fighting. The man, Tillman, fled because he reportedly believed he had a warrant out for his arrest. He did not, but he was then arrested for fleeing. *Lander Police Departent * Robert Wallowingbull, 27, Riverton, Warrant Arrest. Benjamin J Piper, 50, Lander, Warrant Arrest Rachel Brown, 61, Riverton, Arrested for Shoplifting $100 of meat from Mr. D's and public intoxication. The store owner reported that she was almost run over by the fleeing vehicle which left Rachel behind. Liams Tyson, 28, Lander, Warrant Arrest. Tim Wesaw, 33, Lander, Arrested for DUI. Teresa Timbana, 25, Lander, Public Intoxication. *Fremont County Sheriff's Office * Alfred Spoonhunter, 23, Arapahoe, Warrant Arrest, failure to appear. Robert Wallowingbull, 27, Riverton, Driving While under the Influence and Driving While under Suspension. 20 year old female was issued a citation for Child Endangerment. Officers arrived at 1575 E Monroe Ave. for a welfare check and reports indicate the 'house was a mess. The adults were sleeping and kids running around.' Two children were taken into protective custody. At 6956 Riverview Road in Riverton, a male came to residence to ask for gas. The reporting person walked outside to check on the male and noticed two cans of gas missing as well as a saddle. The subject reportedly left the scene. The saddle and one gas can were recovered in Ethete with the assistance of Wind River Police Department. WRPD issued charges against all involved. Alfred Spoonhunter, Warrant Arrest.
