Teen could get up to 10 years for series of vandalisms

The suspect involved in the January property destruction and defacement of property in areas around Riverton has been charged with 'Aiding and Abetting Property Destruction and Defacement-Aggregate' as well as 'Conspiracy to Commit Property Destruction and Defacement-Aggregate.' Should Adrian Addison, 18, be convicted of the felony, he could serve up to 10 years in prison, and a fine of up to $10,000. On or between January 15, 2016 - January 19, 2016, Addison reportedly aided another in "knowingly defacing, injuring or destroying property of another. The cost of restoring the injured property was in excess of $1,000." On January 17th, local law enforcement became aware of a series of vandalism incidents occurring on the West side of Riverton in the area of Central Wyoming College. Specifically, windows to numerous vehicles, construction equipment and buildings in the area had been damaged. More incidents occurred in the following days, and after investigating further, law enforcement determined that "rocks, bb guns, and other instruments had been used to cause the damage." According to the affidavit, Addison admitted to the above listed actions which he performed with an 11-year-old. It is unclear at this time whether the 11-year-old was charged in the incident. Addison is out $5,000 unsecured cash bond. An arraignment date has not yet been set. #county10 #news
