Lander lifts water restrictions

The City of Lander is no longer asking residents to conserve water, following turbidity issues of water coming into the treatment plant yesterday. The City of Lander’s water source was experiencing an increase in turbidity. Turbidity is the cloudiness or haziness of a fluid caused by large numbers of individual particles that are generally invisible to the naked eye, similar to smoke in air. The measurement of turbidity is a key test of water quality. The City of Lander water was safe to drink, but the City was not producing water. Production is now back up and running. *Photo h/t MrTwister/Shutterstock* #county10 #news
