6 ways to watch the fireworks around Fremont County this year!

(Fremont County) – Fireworks are synonymous with our celebration of Independence Day. With the 4th of July holiday being tomorrow we put together a list of the different ways you can watch the shows this year. *1. Pavillion – *On Sunday, July 3rd the town of Pavillion will put on a fireworks show at dusk. Burgers and hotdogs cooked by local fire fighters will be served at 5:00 p.m. Auction at 7:00 p.m. Fireworks at dusk and dancing to follow. Music provided by Lost Springs band. Held at the rec center. *2. Lander – *On Saturday, July 4th The Lander Rural Fire Department Fireworks Show will follow the Pioneer Days Rodeo at the Lander Rodeo Grounds at dark. *3. Shoshoni –* On Saturday, July 4th the Shoshoni Fire Department will put on fireworks beginning at dark at the B & K Shoreline Stop. *4. Dubois – *On Saturday, July 4th the city of Dubois will shoot off fireworks at dusk from the Dubois overlook. The best place to watch from is the Town Park. Dubois Parade begins at 2:00 p.m. followed by the duck race at 2:45 p.m., and ice cream social 3-5 p.m. *5. Thermopolis – *(Yup, we know Thermop isn’t in Fremont County, but we didn’t want to leave them out). On Saturday, July 4th Thermopolis will be putting on a fireworks show beginning around 9:45 from T Hill. The 4th of July parade begins at 10:00 a.m. *6. Lander – *On Saturday, July 4th the entire city of Lander turns into a giant fireworks show in and of itself. Choose your favorite overlook spot and enjoy! County 10 will be doing their annual 4th of July Photo Contest this year….more information to come later today!
