Lifelong Wyomingite and local businessman Mark Keiser has announced his candidacy for Fremont County Commissioner District 5. As Fremont County Commissioner, Mark Keiser will: -Listen to county residents about their concerns -Be a voice for personal rights, and property rights -Make common sense judgments -Cooperate with fellow commissioners to achieve economic viability and social stability -Advocate for multiple use of public lands as our natural right "I am not a politician, and I am not politically correct," Keiser says. "I will be a voice for you." As a lifelong Wyoming, Keiser has spent most of his life in Fremont County as a devoted family man and an active outdoorsman. He owns Keiser Sausage & Smokehouse and is a veteran of the U.S. Army 1973-1976, stationed overseas. Among his public service credentials are: -Lander City Council, two terms -Lander Planning Commission, 15 years -Lander Volunteer Fire Department, 22 years --Fire Chief --Rescue Captain --1st Assistant Chief --Arson Task Force, Fremont County --Certified arson investigator, 24 years.
