Several of the ways WAR accomplishes this mission is through the education of the public, owners, and others intimately involved in bird ownership, as well as fostering and rehabilitating birds that have been relinquished by owners and other family members. It is through these efforts that WAR seeks to locate, rescue, rehabilitate and finally re-home, in forever homes, these exotic companions. Although we are located in Riverton, Wyoming, we travel statewide and also to surrounding states. We are a 501(c)3. We are a total volunteer rescue. Everything we make goes solely for our birds. We have several fundraisers each year and some mini fundraisers throughout the year. Feel free to check us out on facebook or at wyomingavianrescue.org . You can also see some of our birds at Riverton ACE Hardware . Sinbad a 35 yr old molucaan was our fist rescue and the reason we started this rescue. We hope in the near future to have a sanctuary and an off site rescues facility. We are working towards being self sufficient to keep the rescue flourishing in the future. * [image: Inline image 1]
