Street fight leads to two arrests in Riverton

(Riverton, Wyo.) - The Riverton Police Department arrested two individuals and issued three citations after responding to an incident on Cheyenne Avenue on Wednesday morning around 1:20 a.m. Officers report that a 13-year-old boy was reportedly walking home and had told his friend, 25-year-old Thunder Littlethunder, that he had been assaulted. Littlethunder reportedly walked back up the street to confront the younger individuals and reportedly began to fight with them. When officers arrived on scene, they were able to separate most of the individuals, however, Littlethunder and 19-year-old Juwan Monpoya of Riverton continued to fight and reportedly ignored police. After separating the two individuals, officers arrested Thunder Littlethunder, 25, Riverton, for Simple Assault and Juwan Monpoya, 19, Riverton, for Simple Assault. Officers also cited a 16-year-old female of Riverton, a 15-year-old female of Riverton, and a 14-year-old male of Riverton for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. During the investigation, officers concluded there were no signs of injury to the 13-year-old boy who had initially reported that he had been assaulted. Officers indicate that no one sustained injury during the fight. #county10 #news
