Yesterday around 3:00 p.m. Emergency Personnel responded to a near drowning victim at the Lander Swimming Pool. Lander Police Department report this morning that a 4-year-old girl was in the hot tub when her mother alerted pool staff that she needed help. The police report indicates that pool staff quickly removed the girl from the hot tub and performed CPR. When EMS arrived the girl was reportedly breathing on her own. She was immediately transported by ground ambulance to Lander Hospital. The Fremont County Coroner's Chief Deputy Erin Ivie confirms this incident was not a coroner's case.
