#ThrowbackThursday: Thank you firefighters

This photo was taken three years ago by David Englert during the Sinks Canyon Fire which started almost exactly three years ago on July 22, 2013. Ultimately, the fire burned approximately 1,335 acres on the Shoshone National Forest, Bureau of Land Management and Sinks Canyon State Park property. Private homes were threatened, but none were damaged. It's a timely #throwback photo considering the multitude of fires happening around Fremont County, including the Lava Mountain Fire and Shoshone Lake Fire as well as the Cliff Creek Fire north of Bondurant. We continue to thank our firefighters who work tirelessly every day to keep us safe. #county10 #news #buckrail #snapped
