Dispatch: Arrests; Several weather-related accidents; Sex Offender Violated Probation

Here is the latest from law enforcement around the county today. All calls took place January 18th through early morning January 19th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* A man was stopped along the 800 block of east 12th street for having an expired registration. K9 units detected the presence of drugs in his vehicle. Despite arguing that the dog might be lying or not know how to do its job, a search found traces of pot in the cupholders and glovebox of the truck. There were several accidents involving cars not being able to stop. A 25 year old male and a 16 year old female each caused thousands of dollars in damage to property when their vehicles slid off the road and over fences.
