Winter Storm Headed Our Way Tonight and Tomorrow

(Gillette, Wyo.) According to the National Weather Service, a fast moving winter storm will be sweeping across northeast Wyoming overnight and early Friday morning. Rain between midnight and 5am could become freezing rain and even snow, with temperatures dropping to about 33°. An estimated two inches of snow accumulation is predicted for the Black Hills area in particular. Moving in to Friday morning until around 11am, winds will increase to 20 to 35 mph with some gusts to around 40 mph. This is in addition to a 40% of freezing rain or snow.
