Teenagers Arrested for String of Christmas Burglaries

(Wright, Wyo.) The Sheriff's office out of Wright was questioning a suspect on an unrelated investigation last Thursday, January 28th, when they discovered the young man had been involved with multiple burglaries in December. Kenneth Brannen, 18, Steven Riley, 19, and Jesse Osborne, 18 (left to right pictured), along with the suspect being questioned, were with a 15 year old boy and 16 year old girl when all six allegedly burglarized a home on Wagon Wheel Drive twice in one night. Numerous stolen items, some of them with the homeowner's named etched on them, were recovered and returned as a result of this investigation. Riley was found in possession of two firearms and ammunition that had been taken from the home. When being interviewed by deputies, Osborne also confessed to taking Brannen and the fourth suspect to the Safety Storage Units in Wright, where the pair stole jewelry from a storage unit owned by the owner of Hank's Bar, with Osborne driving the getaway car. Brannen later admitted to giving the stolen jewelry to his sister and grandmother for Christmas. All three teenagers were arrested Friday, January 29th for multiple counts of aggravated burglary, receiving stolen goods, and conspiracy to commit burglary. They appeared in Circuit Court on Monday. Their bonds were set at $5000 each, and all three have since been released. #county17 #news -- *Brenda Kirk* Community Maven for | 614.940.7121 Twitter | Instagram | Facebook PitchEngine™ | *Connecting Communities* | Twitter | Facebook
