Registration Opens Today for 2016's Performing Arts Workshop

(Gillette, Wyo.) PAW, the Performing Arts Workshop, is in its 23rd year. The musical theater camp for students from 6 years old all the way through college is designed to train young performers in singing, acting, and dancing. The program is open to students regardless of prior theater experience. This year they will be presenting a version of the Broadway musical "Annie." "Annie" is based on the popular comic strip by Harold Gray. It was the winner of seven Tony Awards including Best Musical in its original 1977 run, and was nominated for a Tony in 2013 for Best Musical Revival. Registration and scholarship applications are now available at the Cam-Plex Heritage Center. You can also call 682-8802 or 682-0552. Tuition for kids aged 6 - 9 is $275 if paid before May 16th. Tuition for students 10 and over is $325 before May 16th. There are discounts available for families that have more than one child in the program. Scholarship applications are due May 16th as well.
